Ingredients to make a Rum Sour cocktail
- 2 oz Dos Maderas 5+5 Rum
- 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 0.5 oz Semi-rich Demerara Syrup (or simple syrup)
- 0.5 oz Egg White (optional, for froth)
Rum Sour recipe - Step by Step
- Combine rum, lemon, and syrup in a shaker. If using egg white, perform a “dry shake” first.
- Add ice and shake hard.
- Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube (or up in a coupe).
- Add a few drops of bitters on the foam for aromatics.

Angostura bitters and a lemon twist
